Project Rasengan Naruto revival — Project Rasengan Wiki

---

Quick answer

Project Rasengan is the official NARUTO revival announced at New York Comic Con 2026. It covers four projects: the NARUTO x NINKU limited anime, the SHADOW RISING manga by Masashi Kishimoto, the NARUTO CARD GAME launching worldwide in June 2027, and NARUTO mobile going global. This page breaks down Naruto revival using only officially confirmed information.

Because the initiative is broader than a single game, this page separates what is confirmed from what remains unannounced. The card game is the clearest timed release. The anime and mobile projects still need official dates.

Official status

Project Rasengan is not an invented fan label. It is the official umbrella used for the NARUTO franchise revival. The four projects are meant to span anime, manga, trading cards, and mobile gaming over a long-term roadmap.

The NARUTO x NINKU anime is a limited crossover series supervised by Masashi Kishimoto together with NINKU author Koji Kiriyama. SHADOW RISING is a new manga project drawn by Kishimoto. The card game and mobile game extend the franchise into tabletop and mobile play.

• NARUTO x NINKU limited anime: Supervised by Masashi Kishimoto and NINKU author Koji Kiriyama. Premiere date: TBA.
• SHADOW RISING manga: A new manga project drawn by Masashi Kishimoto. Details: Jump Festa 2027, Dec 19-20, 2026.
• NARUTO CARD GAME: Worldwide launch confirmed for June 2027. Deck: 51 main cards + 5 Chakra cards + 1 Summon card.
• NARUTO mobile WORLDWIDE: In development. No release date, no confirmed preregistration.
• Roadmap: Announced at New York Comic Con 2026 and planned across 2027-2029.

Release timing

NARUTO CARD GAME is confirmed for June 2027 worldwide. SHADOW RISING details are scheduled for Jump Festa 2027 on December 19-20, 2026. No public premiere date is available for the NARUTO x NINKU anime.

NARUTO mobile WORLDWIDE is in development, but official materials do not include a release date or preregistration link. Treat every other date you see elsewhere as unverified until NARUTO's official channels confirm it.

Why it matters

For fans searching Project Rasengan Naruto revival, the important point is the structure: four projects, not one platform. That distinction matters for release tracking, because manga, anime, cards, and mobile game announcements will not all arrive together.

The card game's June 2027 launch gives the roadmap a firm anchor. Jump Festa 2027 gives the manga a concrete next update point. The anime and mobile projects have status and creative details, but dates remain TBA.

How to follow updates

The safest sources are the official Project Rasengan page, NARUTO's official site and X account, the official YouTube channel, and the NARUTO CARD GAME site. For the mobile project, the official Instagram/X account is the relevant channel.

When a new announcement appears, check three things: whether the source is official, whether the date is explicit, and whether the announcement names the exact project. That helps avoid mixing rumors from different NARUTO projects.

Practical next steps

If you want a starting point, read the beginner guide for the whole initiative, then bookmark the release schedule page. If you care about the card game, study the deck structure and card types before the global launch.

If your main interest is the manga, wait for Jump Festa 2027 details. If you care about the anime, treat the crossover's creative team as confirmed but the date as unannounced.

The four confirmed projects

If you searched for Naruto revival, start with the confirmed facts below. Project Rasengan groups four confirmed projects under one official umbrella. The NARUTO x NINKU limited anime is supervised by Masashi Kishimoto with NINKU creator Koji Kiriyama. SHADOW RISING is an all-new manga drawn by Kishimoto. The NARUTO CARD GAME launches worldwide in June 2027, and NARUTO mobile WORLDWIDE is in development.

Each project is at a different stage. The card game has the firmest date, and the manga has a concrete next reveal at Jump Festa 2027. The anime and mobile game have confirmed status and creative details, but no dates. Treating the four separately is the fastest way to avoid confusion.

Key facts to remember

The initiative was announced at New York Comic Con 2026 and is planned across 2027-2029. The card game's tagline is "Read your rival, Unleash Ninjutsu!" and a deck contains 51 main cards, 5 Chakra cards, and 1 Summon card. The manga reveal is set for December 19-20, 2026.

These facts come directly from the official Project Rasengan page and the NARUTO CARD GAME site. Anything that contradicts them should be treated as a rumor until an official channel repeats it. Bookmarking the official hub is the simplest habit to build.

Official sources to trust

The safest sources are the official hub at naruto-official.com, the NARUTO CARD GAME site, and NARUTO's official YouTube channel. For real-time updates, the official English X account and the card game's X account are the fastest. The NARUTO subreddit is useful for discussion, but it is not an official source.

When a headline claims a new date or detail, check three things before sharing it. First, whether the source is an official channel. Second, whether the date is explicit rather than implied. Third, whether the announcement names the exact project, because the four projects often get mixed together.

What is still unconfirmed

The anime's premiere date, episode count, and streaming platform are all TBA. The mobile game has no launch date, no confirmed store preregistration, and no platform list beyond official confirmation that it is in development. Device compatibility and regional availability also remain open questions.

That is normal for an initiative announced in October 2026. The official roadmap promises updates through 2029, so gaps will fill in over time. Until then, this wiki marks anything uncertain as unconfirmed rather than guessing.

Common mistakes to avoid

The most common mistake is treating Project Rasengan as a single game. It is an umbrella for four projects, and each has its own timeline. Mixing their announcements leads to wrong expectations about dates.

The second mistake is trusting unverified dates from social media. Official confirmation always lands on the official hub or X accounts first. If a date is not there, it is not real yet.
